I've never heard of HSUS and would've thought that they're the same as the local Humane Societies. Of course, they're not the only ones who get away with this kind of stuff. How about those religious organizations who collect a ton of money for themselves in the name of God? Or politicians who claim to make decisions for the good of the country when their true intentions are to gain profit for themselves?
